Liz & Norma
[Norma] Scotland means everything to me.
[[Norma] I think it’s your heritage,
it’s your culture.
[Norma] Glasgow, in particular.
[Norma] There’s a lot of good stuff happening
in Glasgow.
[Norma] We’ve got a lot of good architecture
and stuff like that.
[Norma] But when you look
at the main street here,
[Norma] you see a lot of places closing down,
and it makes you wonder what’s happening.
[Liz] Well, Scotland means everything to me,
as well,
[Liz] but I think we need to look at the people
that are living in the streets
[Liz] and that are homeless
and, you know,
[Liz] it’s not giving a good light to Glasgow.
[Liz] They need to look at
how they can support them.
[Liz] And I think if they did that,
you know,
[Liz] it would really make things
a lot different.
[Norma] I would say people don’t know
what’s happening just now
[Norma] because of Brexit and things like that,
[Norma] and there’s a lot of concern
at the moment.
[Norma] There’s a lot of job losses,
there’s a lot of uncertainty.
